What I was looking for.

I ended up in the emergency room from a bad fall I took when my desk chair roiled off from under me on my hardwood floors. I temporarily put an area mat to prevent this from happening again but the rollers kept going off the perimeter because didn’t cover the area that need to be covered. This is a very thin mat but is exactly what I needed. My chair doesn’t roll off unless I start the motion, the size is perfect and it is very low profile. I have been using it for several months now and it is holding up.

Pros

Protects carpets and rugs from damage caused by constant movement and weight of office chairs.

Cons

Could become a tripping hazard if not placed correctly
