The inner diameter of this plug is just under 2", which means it'll be a little loose in a true 2" hole. The problem is that if a cable pulls on it from the side, it'll pull out of the hole or sit at an awkward angle. I'll probably need some glue on this side so it really sticks in my hole instead of being pulled. See the attached picture to see what I'm complaining about. Other than a poor fit, that's ok. But since the whole purpose of the purchase was a visually pleasing opening for the cables, I don't like the sloping grommet that much.
