. I bought this to replace my LG filter which had warped in a year and was badly ruining our clothes. I tried fitting the old filter but it just didn't fit properly. I ended up with a Revain recommended three piece kit that included this filter (ADQ56656401), cap (MCK49049101) and frame/rail (MEA49050001). I also couldn't find the framework/instructions to offer a resolution, but installed it anyway since I had it. The new build works like new and I am very happy with the results. As for LG, I'm not overly enthusiastic about their poor design and build for something as simple as a lint filter, but that's another review.
