Very thick, heavy duty pockets. I have heard complaints that these products are poorly sealed. Do that. Close the bag with the white thumb slider. Then press the edge bond very firmly with your fingertips. Press firmly and run your fingertips vigorously along the edge. The problem is that the white tongue alone does not ensure a perfect fit. Once you've done that, open the lid an inch, sit on top of the bag to let out as much air as possible, or just roll it up like a roll. Then use your fingertips to reseal the bag. These are really great bags for storage, travel, downsize, etc. Manufacturers need to write and draw instructions that the white tab can't provide a perfect closure. Must use fingers.
