*UPDATE* I am changing my rating from 3 stars to 2. The tall pole with storage basket broke in half before we got it for 3 full months. The cardboard underneath was pretty brittle so it's impressive it didn't rip sooner. We won't buy it again. If you want small kittens and anticipate having to buy a larger kitten in the future as they get older, that's fine. Otherwise my advice would be to save your money and invest in a better turret/scraper. It is best suited for small kittens under 6 months. The price is good but it's not very strong and durable. The curved bridge flattened out almost immediately (the cat was very small, 4, maybe 5 months). She is around 7-8 months old and the curved part has completely broken off exposing the braces. We did it and everything is fine again. She also knocked it over a couple of times when she jumped into the basket a little wilder. We like that she uses the scratching post a lot and it holds up well. !
