Although I had to return this product it works but be aware it may not fit. Screwing it into my laptop was very difficult as the screw holes didn't line up with the metal plate used to screw it on. Props to include a screwdriver as it came in very handy. This might not be a solution for everyone either as I experienced unbearably slow speeds on the inserted SSD after installing it. I recommend that you just get an external adapter instead.
