I have a Chinese Crested Dog and anyone familiar with the breed knows that they are VERY sensitive to their toilet needs. If it's too cold, I won't pee outside. If it's too dirty, I don't write outside. If an area has already been marked often enough, nothing will be written in this area at all. Well I moved in and now have a very small yard (3x6m) and after he'd peed enough for everything he didn't want to pee around anymore and just stood by the gate. Then an accident happened in the house. (insert frustrated face) I couldn't go with him every time he had to go out (I live in a very dimly lit area with no sidewalks). I fixed it near the fence and he immediately peed next to it. I thought it might be a coincidence, but a few months later he's still pissing on or around him without incident.
