VOTED ONLINE BEST CINEMA PROJECTOR FOR STREET YARD!

My use case was not a game, although this device was heavily promoted to gamers. I read a review on the Internet that called this device the best all-round outdoor and backyard cinema projector. I agree it's, it's AWESOME. You can buy projectors with even more brightness (I've seen 6000 lumens for $2800 but I'm a fan of flashlights and I can tell you that the difference between these 3800 lumen and 6000 lumen devices isn't that great (is as big as you might be. In other words, the juice isn't worth squeezing out.) After doing some research, I found that you need a short-throw projector like this for outdoor inflatable movie screens. This is because this device displays a 120 inch image from just 4 feet away! The closer the projector is to the screen, the brighter it is. I connected this to my 20ft Khomo Gear inflatable movie screen and the results were MAGIC. We've seen Star Wars (A New Hope), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Empire Strikes Back. The projector reproduces beautifully deep blacks and rich blues, greens and reds. In my backyard film setup, the projector is BEHIND my inflatable screen, not in front of it (it's a double-sided projection screen). Usually more light is required for this configuration as the light has to pass through the fabric shade. This projector had no problem doing this at over 15 feet! It has a legitimate 3800 lumens and looks really good. You get what you pay for. Don't believe what people tell you about buying a cheap film projector. I bought GooDee (brightness is measured in lux, it's a marketing ploy, lumens are needed) and was very disappointed with the picture. This is because GooDee projectors and similar projectors are not short throw projectors and do not produce the lumens needed for a great image (not to mention the resolution). If you want that cheap 1970s car feel the GooDee will do, but any good HD film will need at least one projector of this spec to produce an acceptable exterior image. You can find plenty of projectors that will kill this one too, but for the money I can't recommend it enough.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
