My house has no air conditioning and it gets too hot for about two weeks in the summer. So I bought it thinking it might help a little. It was easy to set up and start up, but within an hour it shut down (remember, it was doing absolutely nothing, it wasn't blowing cold air, it was just a humidifier with a small fan behind it). I just left it because I forgot. And when I returned to him, I smelled the smell of burning. I went to pick him up to get him out of the house and he burned me. I immediately turned it off and it smokes. I definitely shouldn't have taken it, I should have thought before I took it. But the product should also not smoke and be on the verge of ignition. I personally should not buy this product under any circumstances.
