I'm giving 3 stars because it's not what's in the pictures and it's not really soft. But I knew what I was getting from reading the reviews and see customer pictures. I wanted a shaggy rug for my tiny bedroom. This works well enough but it's not soft. The fibers are really silky which makes it feel nice but to be honest, on the hardwood floor it feels like rubbing an animal with my feet. It hasn't been shedding yet after the few weeks I've had it.
