I have a very sensitive palate and can take the chalky/sticky taste/texture that adds to whatever I add. You need to add it to a reasonable amount of liquid and whisk it quickly for some time - this works best in a blender for some reason, except I don't have one. But I wouldn't say the flavor is "bad," you just have to find something to mix it with. Don't limit yourself to cold smoothies. As I take AIP and have a hard time getting enough calories, it's great to have quality protein that meets AIP's requirements! My favorite way to use it lately is to heat 3/4 cup bone broth, ghee, and 1 spoonful of it until the protein has dissolved. Then I add cooked yuca or cassava flour and beat. It gets gooey and turns into something that reminds me of mashed potatoes! Add some garlic powder, herbs like rosemary, some salt and you're done.
