I bought this on the recommendation of a UK photography magazine. The connector fits snugly into my Canon 3-pin connector. Some reviews of other brands of remote releases have complained of loose or intermittent connections. This is definitely not a problem. However, it's not coupled with the same higher quality "locking feel" as my Canon remote. Of course, this has nothing to do with the actual functionality. The device is significantly smaller than the Canon trigger, which may or may not impact your ergonomic preferences. Highly recommended, especially considering the price compared to a Canon trigger.
