Description of ๐Ÿ“ธ Enhanced SEO: Phottix S8 Wired Remote Camera Trigger for Sony Cameras (PH10461)

Phottix's Wired Camera Trigger Remote is a compact remote switch made specifically for Sony cameras. Features all the functions of the camera's shutter release button which is essential when limiting camera shake or when taking long exposure shots. Very straight-forward and user friendly. Half-press on the shutter button will cause the camera to focus, and full-press will trigger the shutter and cause the camera to take a photo. The remote shutter button can be locked into place for long exposure shots. Limited 1-Year Warranty.

Not Enough Information About Canon Cameras

Be Careful. That "C8" says it's for Canon, but so does "C6". The description does not state which remote release fits which Canon camera. The print cost me $5 to send back because it was the wrong one. I lost 30% of my investment. The picture should also show a fork. Good product, just bad advertising. Buying back the correct trigger will cost me the $5 I lost and again an added risk if the new trigger works for my Canon camera. I don't want to deal with the problem of returning another trigger

Pros
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great price

I bought this on the recommendation of a UK photography magazine. The connector fits snugly into my Canon 3-pin connector. Some reviews of other brands of remote releases have complained of loose or intermittent connections. This is definitely not a problem. However, it's not coupled with the same higher quality "locking feel" as my Canon remote. Of course, this has nothing to do with the actual functionality. The device is significantly smaller than the Canon trigger, which may or may notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
