Slightly different. Processors have become more sophisticated than before. In general, install as much memory as will fit on your motherboard, then put your system on both an SSD drive and a data drive. Your car will scream. I also tell people that Steve Jobs made computers look like Tesla computers, but destroyed the computer industry in the process. Okay, it's a work of art, but you're unlikely to be able to fix, add, or change the hardware. I have an old Dell and an old HP. With HP I can install more RAM and 2 hard drives. Dell has more I/O and even an Esata port. Because I can easily upgrade them, these older laptops are incredibly powerful, inexpensive, and cheap to be free. The same goes for thin-rimmed apples. Complete garbage. I use thick-rimmed apples and they work great and are easy to refresh. I usually run the CPU at low speed/power, which is good in Arizona if you need as much power for the air conditioners as possible!
