Strong magnet, easy to use, does its job perfectly. I've read other reviews that said the adhesive used to attach the pad left marks, but I haven't had any such issues. . I carefully inspected the pads and I didn't see any excess glue so everything is fine. I've also read that some people have said they have to run it 20 times to get rid of the algae. Obviously there are many different types of algae, so your results will vary; mine is a hard, smooth, dark green variety that grows in patches and I was able to remove the stain with just 3-4 scrubbing strokes.
