Review on ๐Ÿฆฎ Blue Camouflage Suitical Recovery Suit for Dogs by Yvonne Roybal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An absolute lifesaver! If your dog doesn't chew, look no further!

Firstly, if you are anything like me, your first thought is too good to be true. Second, I don't usually write reviews, which in itself means I want my words to be public. My dog is an 11 year old German shepherd who has never had anything wrong with him and has never had surgery other than needing surgery. I'll spare you the details, but she had to undergo re-examination surgery, which means quite large cuts near her female body parts and abdomen. It has 21 clips and a drain hose. The vet gave me one of those plastic cones which I tried to put on her while she was still recovering from the anesthesia. . She was horrified and seemed to be doing almost more harm than good. She was like a cat trying to crawl into a corner and rip it off. So I just looked and found a handy cone, bought it and took the next two days off to watch them. A handy cone arrives and I tried to put it on her. yes, for free I'll be honest I'm an absolute sucker when my dog is hurt or uncomfortable so I did what I'm NOT supposed to do and stripped him. If you're anything like me, taking your dog to the vet already makes you feel awful. So I looked around and saw this survival suit. Yes, not too good to be true. At that point I said to hell with it, because the two cones weren't working and we have two weeks to get through this, I definitely can't take two weeks to watch them. Ordered, received quickly in 2 days thanks to Prime. I put it on her and it fits perfectly. My dog is 85 pounds and I bought a large one. I read the reviews and someone said the quality isn't worth the money and the sizing isn't right. I'm not sure where they got it from because I don't think the quality is bad at all. It's like the jumpsuit you buy for your little one. It also has zippers! It completely covered her stomach and genital area so it was perfect. Not too tight on her arms or legs. I never put clothes on her, so I didn't know what was going to happen. Nothing. Nothing has happened. That was 4 days ago and since then she has left her braces alone. I keep it with her while I'm at work and blocking the stairs and she doesn't even itch. We have cameras at home so I keep checking at work and you won't even know she had surgery. I don't want this to sound like another pandering review, but this saved it! She is quite comfortable in a cone and is not afraid. My girl has never been a real chewer so I can understand why some people might not like the product when their dog ate it. If your dog chews that might not be the best idea, but it has nothing to do with the product itself. If your dog likes to chew, don't put anything on him that he can chew! wow people I know this product will help me sleep at night knowing she won't be messing around with her 21 braces and I can go back to work (of course I need to get my money back for the surgery). I personally would like to thank everyone who came up with this idea, it's great and I'd love to buy you a beer. If you doubt this product and your dog won't chew anything, buy it! You will be so thankful. This is most convenient when they have to deal with staples or stitches. Just make sure you take it off before letting them out as it will cover the dog's messy working part. It's a routine for me when I get home. "Hi Mom, I haven't fiddled with the suspenders but I have to pee so take that off!" Done. Thank you for creating such a simple yet effective product, I will always be grateful!
