My 8 year old daughter wore this to the gym and she overheated badly. The gym wasn't too hot so it shouldn't have been a problem. She usually wears stretchy leggings and a t-shirt and never overheats. When she first wore this short skirt, she became very hot, which made her feel miserable. She loves the print and was so excited to wear it. But at the next gym class, she refused to wear it because she didn't want to warm up during class. Super slacker, it didn't work. We removed the tags so she can wear it to gymnastics so we can't go back.
