The safety and comfort are worth it!
These backrests are fantastic! My daughter lost her diamond earring twice - and found it both times! - but we were reluctant to have them worn again as the original backing was not securely attached. They are so easy to put on and take off and we have never worried about her wearing them now. There were 2 sets included so I actually replaced the original backs on my diamond earrings and you can't even feel them.
