I don't use my Dewalt tools for professional purposes. They're just tools for doing chores around the house and occasionally helping out a friend. With that in mind, I couldn't imagine spending nearly 10x that for a set of spare batteries. I am very happy with this choice. They charge just as fast as the originals and put out the same power as the originals. I agree they don't carry this fee for that long but at 10% of the cost who am I to complain? If I were a pro and these were my tools I would spend money on OEM equipment, but I'm not a professional and I'm very happy with my choice.
