It is fragile, so please be careful when handling. I broke my first infuser trying to put the kettle on. I was very excited and spoke without paying attention to how I was doing it. I hit my kettle with it and the bottom of my brewer broke off. Again, this is tricky, so be careful with it. I immediately ordered another infusor. I'm careful with it this time :) The glass teapot works great! I highly recommend this!
