Review on 🌀 Efficient Cooling Solution: Argon Fan HAT for Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B – 40mm Fan with Power Button & Software Control by Kevin Taharka

I bought the Argon fan hat because I really like the Argon One Rasp Pi case. I bought this fan hat for another project. My disappointment is that the fan hat doesn't have the same features as a fan in a case. The Fan Hat does not have a Power On feature, although it still has Power Down, Reboot, and Hard Power Down depending on the power button sequence. So back to turning off the power with an extension cord or an extra power switch on the Rasp Pi power supply. I think he needs the supplied frames for assembly. It only uses the GPIO pins to mount/mount the Fan Hat on the RasPi. Of course, Rasp Pis don't get thrown around, but it's a bit annoying when fragile GPIO pins are the only thing holding the fan hat down. Speaking of GPIO pins, they're a complete waste unless an additional pin-to-pin adapter is used or almost everything is pin-matched. The first picture is installation and release. A heatsink CANNOT be used on a CPU unless the fan hat is only partially mounted to the GPIO pins, then it's pretty unstable and definitely requires supports. The second image is when the power is turned on, the fan hat charges itself to 50% for a few seconds, as indicated by two LEDs, and then turns off until it's time to cool down.
