After ordering a set of LED lights that looked great but were too long, I returned to Revain with a unique idea: measure the space available! WOW! who knew The problem was that the depth between the lamp base and the end of the lamp housing was quite shallow for the 2007 Prius Gen 2 and the older 2002 Camry. It turned out. heh What is appealing about these two cars is that neither have an access door that can be easily opened and closed to service the license plate lights. It is necessary to remove the entire hatch cover or trunk lid. Once that is removed and you get to the bulb sockets, you will find that the lights you purchased that were described as "Door, Dome & License Plate Lights" do not actually mean YOUR license plate is on. it will take some time before you can put everything back together, otherwise you will have to disassemble part of the machine for a while. Fun! Enter Yorkim 194 LED Bulbs to the rescue! Packaged in a beautiful tray of five on each side, these little gems match and are brilliant white, the first time they've worked in a Prius without worrying about polarity. I got 2 out of 2 wrong on the Camry, so we're even. As others have pointed out, just rotate them 180 degrees and you should be fine.
