This monitor is exactly what I needed - great picture, great colors, great USB-C connection that charges my M1 MacBook Air. I ordered despite reports of problems with Mac USB C support - works great with mine. Three more USB-A ports for connecting a webcam, Logitech receiver and flash drive. No speakers but audio jack on my own speaker. All is well. Realize the dream of a single cable to connect my Mac to the dock and use it as a desktop with a great big monitor. I'm thankful it works so well with my setup because it's literally the only monitor whose materials and design are good enough not to ruin my bedroom. The soft silver finish, simple, elegant stand, and minimal bezels allow it to blend into my home, unlike comparable office-only plastic monsters from LG and Samsung. I would love an Apple display, but it's too expensive. While it annoys me that my more expensive LG stops detecting the signal without warning after only a few years, I'm happy to replace it with this HP. It looks a lot better, I like the ports and their layout, and the joystick menu control on the back right is easy and intuitive to use. The tiny white power LED can be turned off, another small necessity in my house. It was a good buy for my needs and the price is right. Ouch! And no foam - all molded cardboard packaging is very easy to use. Environmental friendliness is a big plus.
