Too much for beginners
This cross stitch is too much for my 13 year old niece who is just starting to cross stitch. She quickly choked. I think I would look for something much smaller and simpler to start with. But I'm sure she'll get used to it over time. This is a really cute design. And I love that this set has it all. And it looks like fun.
