They worked on our 2011 Mustang GT. We only had one key, so we called in an auto mechanic who could program the RFID chips into the car's security system. Total cost for 2 keys: $120. Much better than the dealer who wanted $340 for one. I was confused at one point so I'll clear it up in case you are too. These keys need to be programmed with TWO things: 1) a security code that allows the car to start the key and 2) remote door functions. You can only do step 1 yourself if you have 2 keys. You can still do step 2 yourself.
