Review on Coralife 100538604 Biocube Protein Skimmer by Candace Robinson

With the Biocube 32 you're a bit limited on which skimmer to use, so I thought I might at least try it first and then, if not, into the $100-120 arena go small skimmers. I'm glad I tried. Read other reviews, when setting this up, close the air valve fully and barely open it. It doesn't need more. My first 2 days were crazy about the microbubbles too, but when the skimmer broke (which meant dirt was covering part of the sides) my microbubbles were gone. My first 2 weeks was pretty thin skimming and emptying the container daily. That too came and went and now I'm getting a thicker coat and I have to change it about every two days. It's 4 stars out of 5 because I've only had it for about a month, don't know if it will last forever, will come back later and check it out.
