Good containers but fragile
I was looking for square glass containers because: 1) my husband wanted a jar his hand could actually reach; 2) I wanted glass so it doesn't absorb odors. The cylindrical pitcher we used for coffee was narrow and awkward for his hand, so I found this pitcher set. I love how tight the lid closes so I know the food isn't drying out. Each container size allows you to store a large amount in it. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it would be great if the base was thicker glass to make the container less fragile. We handle these jars very carefully as it seems they can easily break on our granite slabs if placed too hard/roughly.
