Review on 🥤 Soda CO2 Refill Connector Adapter: PERA Household Cylinder Accessories – CGA320 to TR21.4 by Shawn Martin

It's finally easy to refill Sodastream bottles.

Finally an easy way to refill them. I tried a hose adapter to go straight to Sodastream from my homemade CO2 brew bottle, but it ended up tasting like factory. Instead of making a clean adapter myself, I tried this refill adapter first. Okay, that's easy enough for me to end - this is my solution to dealing with pandemic gas. As a result, the bottles give MUCH MORE gas than buying refills in the store, they last much longer. And that goes something like this: 1- An empty bottle for filling goes in the freezer overnight. I just tried one in the freezer for a few minutes and it worked fine, just less gas. Now I always keep them empty in the freezer. The general gas equation PV=nRT means there is more gas in the cooler.2 - Install the o-rings on the right side (white washer on the tank side, black o-ring on the soda side and small o-ring for the outlet valve) . I put a light coat of barrel grease on the washers and rings why not. 3 - Insert the adapter into the original CO2 cylinder with the valves on the tank and the outlet valve on the adapter closed. Use the wrench on the tank connector. You can leave it on the CO2 source tank until you decide to use the tank for something else. A homemade CO2 tank like me needs to be upside down so the liquid CO2 wants to get into the frozen bottle. Then, open the cylinder valve VERY SLOWLY until you hear CO2 escaping. You can slowly open it further once you hear the flow, but if you open it too far too quickly, the bottle pin will jam and stop the flow entirely. Just fill it up slowly, it takes about two minutes but saves you insane money. 6 - As soon as you think you've filled it, close your tank valve. Then open the vent valve on the adapter to release the compressed gas in the adapter and allow the bottle pin to close (the pressure will keep it open for this filling, nothing will touch that center pin). Then lift the freshly filled bottle and marvel at its weight. In fact, I always use a food scale to measure an empty bottle and a full bottle to put my mind at ease. Soda bottles last us at least two or three times longer than refills compared to fresh refills from the store. Mmmm Walk. Figure.
