Not as strong as advertised

Used to hang air tools. Sum of the magnets did not hold. Two of the magnets broke when I tried to mount them. The magnets may be misused by individuals who are not trained in their proper handling!

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. . BOUGHT SEVERAL TIMES. MY USE? I ATTACH TO THIN PIECES OF WOOD W. DOORBELL SENSOR ATTACHED, AND UNDER MY TRUCK WATCHING MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER . .

Poor quality! on my review.

Let me start by saying that I have purchased dozens of this type of magnets over the years and am fully aware of their limitations. These are the first that I have purchased that have cracked so easily. I lightly tightened the mounting screws and two or three of them developed cracks. Hopefully they are glued to the cup and the pieces won't fall out. They are fairly strong but I highly doubt that they have 100 lbs of pulling force that they claim.

Pros: -They are magnets. - Most of them are as advertisedCons: - Some are missing the countersink. - The countersink is irregular, with some being quite shallow - 6 of the magnets I received had an opposite polarity. Not a fan… flat screw heads are too big for the magnets

The strength of the magnets are okay but when you use ANY flat screw to install the magnets, the screw head doesn’t lay flush with the magnet so the magnet won’t really work… not due to the screws themselves but because the depth of the magnet isn’t deep enough. Additionally, the magnets are very fragile when tightening them. I would not recommend these or at least this size.

Countersink side should be opposite for half

Wanted to use to attach my grill for my custom subwoofer project. Issue is the countersink side is on the same side pole for every one, meaning if you want one on the grill to attach to another on the speaker box, you cant screw them in using the countersink setup as they will then repel each other. I saw some other brands did this and just assumed these did too. I tried then just screwing a metal plate to the other side, but this didnt provide enough grip as two attracting magnets would and…

Heavy duty magnets good for me

These are the strongest magnets we've ever found. Hung our heavy metal family sign over over garage with only 4 of them! A hurricane wouldn't budge these.

Ok magnet’s but very brittle.

These magnets are stronger than your run of the mill magnets but I would not trust them to hold up the weight listed. These magnets are also very brittle and they will crack is you even try to tighten the screws down the littlest bit.

Really Powerful Magnets

I purchased these for a project and they worked perfectly. I was making a barn door tent for my van and needed some strong magnets to attach this tent to my van doors. These worked perfect! I had purchased some others which were not as strong and were made of a material that if they were dropped would shatter. These are really strong magnets however one of them arrived cracked and another one cracked when I put a screw in to mount it. I'm not sure how well these are going to hold up.

No way 100lbs pull in my review

I got these magnets along with another brand that advertised 90lbs pull. The other brand is much stronger than these "100lbs". Don't get me wrong.for the size of these things, they are strong! Just very thin and not as strong as I need.

Helpful organizers best in my review

Pretty strong magnets. I glued them on the back of tool holders (like my Allen key set) to maximize the space in my tool box. Had to double them up on some things but they are still well worth the buy.

Maybe they meant 10.0 lbs?

Good strong magnets, size in the description is accurate. But the seller says 100 lbs in the description, implying that that is how much holding power thy have. Maybe all 12 at once. Hold is probably more in the range of 10-15 lbs. each. Still worth the price, and I will find some uses for them.
