I have not found the ends of 1/4" NPT male hose fittings to be compatible. It's definitely not a 3/8 inch thread. It's a 1/4" thread, but I believe the factory has an incorrectly calibrated pipe threader that threads their end connections. Fittings should be a much better match for 1/4" NPT threads. Threads tighten very quickly. That's why people get confused in reviews about pipe thread size. I recommend another brand but at least this seller accepted the return. Maybe I could do a 1/4" fitting on this hose and there might not be a leak, but it wouldn't be a proper connection to the pipe. I think Goodyear needs to review their production equipment.
