Shorter than expected

I like the neckline, and the material is soft. Maybe I just have a long torso, but I was under the impression that these would be longer. It falls just above the waistband of my jeans. I'm 5'8 and pretty well proportioned. They also don't have a lot of stretch.I like them enough to keep them, the quality is good. I just wish this was more clear in the description because I was looking for something else.
