As we all know, the lines on these docks are the weak link. Just read the reviews. My family keeps unplugging the extra cable from my XM dock to pump their music onto the system in my garage. This or a small dent will cause your accessory connector to detach from the circuit board. This time I used a .050 hex wrench to remove 4 screws from my new dock. I then bypassed the aux line with a two part epoxy. It's kind of hard to see in the pictures. It feels like hard rock and it only lasted a few minutes. I hope this is teen proof.
