UPDATE: I bought 4 different USB cameras and tested them all in our church. This camera is MUCH BETTER! One I tried worked once and then died. One was cheap but worked well. One was 2K but the image had white cloud lines streaming down, probably from our fluorescent lights. By returning two of them and ordering another one. We needed an external camera that we could connect to our laptop to stream our worship service. We're not sure we're ready to invest in a $500 camera, so we went with this one. Received, connected and worked great from the start. There is no software to download or any other program to run. just plug it in! Image quality is EXCELLENT! We put it on the balcony and thought it might be too far away, but the wide angle is perfect for the front of our hallway. I will also say that we had to plug it in with a 60ft USB cable to connect it to our laptop and it works perfectly at that distance! Our USB cable has a built-in amplifier that can improve the signal. In general we are very happy with them! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A+++
