SMALL FIT: They definitely fit the SMALL side! We ordered XXL for my 12 year old son. The advertisement said that the size XXL was suitable for children from 13 to 15 years. The gloves just fit him without too much room and will certainly not fit him in a year. Luckily they fit my 10 year old perfectly. I recommend taking the next size up. COMFORTABLE LOOK: This is a great thin glove; not bulky. Good quality. NEED: The gloved fingers feel fairly tight and firm, but the rest of the glove (palm and wrist area) is fairly loose. There is an elastic around the wrist that should hold the gloves in place, but the elastic is too loose and has no effect. The gloves are also quite short, ending right at the wrist. NOT VERY WATER RESISTANT: These gloves can withstand light water, but they are definitely not made for playing in the snow. It's not bad, just something to be aware of. FEATURES: * Rubber strips on the gloves make it easier to grip objects. * The fingertips are made of conductive fabric so you can use your touchscreen phone without removing your gloves. . Works well but can be a bit fiddly. * Inner fabric is soft fleece for moderate warmth and comfort. These are great thin gloves for cold autumn days and mild winter days. In Alberta winters, they don't provide enough warmth for extended periods of time outdoors. * My son loves the color and subtle style. Much nicer than the usual bulky gloves if you don't plan to play in the snow.
