I loved it as soon as I got it but oh my god. it took me some time to figure it out. There is only one up/down button and I assumed that when the down button was pressed the opener would reach the end of the cork and then stop for a moment. I then figured I would have to press the "open" button to open the bottle opener. I was wrong. Just hold down the down button until it flies through the ground, after that it will pause for a moment, keep holding down the down button and don't let go! It keeps spinning and lifts the cork up the corkscrew. At this point release the down button and the cork will pop out of the bottle and into the corkscrew. to drink wine! To remove the cork from the corkscrew, push the button up until it releases. Hope that helps!
