Has nothing to do with the picture or the description (well, maybe a bit). The only part that even slightly resembles wood is the area around the dial. that's all. The links of the bracelet are made of plastic or metal and, like the watch case itself, are painted in a pure shade of dark brown. Nothing like the picture. And I have a feeling that a woman can wear a darker "wooden watch" and most likely won't be happy wearing a plain ugly dark brown watch. Very disappointed that I would have chosen a different watch rather than taking the time to purchase this one. And resentment because of the wound :) the box is just super crappy plastic. then it fits the clock again!
