I have an existing key (with a separate key fob that has cracked and part of the key has been removed) but I managed to lose it so I came and said I just need a new key , i can program it myself. A key with ours without programming would cost $89. So I ordered this set (I had an old FOB key and a second uncut FOB, see below). If you have two keys, you can authorize the third with Ford. If you only have one, there is a major factory VIN process that costs over $89. So now I have spares and can cut them so if I lose the original I can program one of them. (I think there is a 3 button limit but 4 remote limit). If you've been thinking of getting a key, get a second one as it saves time or hassle if like me you lose the first one even if you don't program it right away
