I have to say I was very worried about the quality when I ordered them. but my fears were unfounded. I can't speak for the future, but at least right out of the box I'm not impressed. They're completely flush with the controller and I can't tell there's anything secondary about them. The ONLY downside for me was that it came with 0 instructions. Literally just turned up in a little plastic bag that said 'Made in China' lol. The last photo I posted shows me sliding a screwdriver (you can use a butter knife) between the gaps on the lid. As a previous reviewer said, I would avoid the trigger area when photographing. It took a little more strength than I really wanted to use, but it wasn't very difficult. Nothing broke during the process.
