Review on 🔒 MAX Silent and Smooth Sliding Hardware by Eugene Cox

I purchased a 13 foot U-Max barn door kit and was very pleased with the overall quality of the product. However, upon opening the package I found that one of the door straps was missing (3 instead of 4). I immediately contacted the seller to let him know about the problem. Long story short, after numerous emails back and forth on what seemed like a waiting tactic, I finally got a replacement after 6 days. Of course not very up to date. To their credit they sent a brand new set but I only needed one strap. The kit itself is well packaged to avoid scratching metal products. The hard plastic wheels are flattened and the door strap bolts come with two different nuts; for doors of different thicknesses. I didn't use a door bottom guide as I feel the method of cutting a slot in the bottom of the door isn't that easy. I replaced an adjustable floor track that doesn't need to cut a slot in the bottom of the door. With a two-wing rail, a connection plate is included in the scope of delivery, which is screwed to both guides in the middle. It was nice that this plate doubled as a doorstop so each door stopped dead center - nice feature! Let's hope the missing part was an accident, but if not, wait a while to get replacement parts. Otherwise a very good door overall.
