They look tough, durable and great value. The reason for 4 stars is that 9" gaps will NOT fit. There is almost 3/16" around the cymbal so 9" cymbals will not snap. Now that that is said, the panels are really held in place and the only way to get the platters out is to turn the tray upside down when it shakes. to release or turn them off. That's a good thing. But it was advertised as a 9" latch. That's not the case. (At least that's what I understood from reading it.) Wash well with a brush I think a dirty baby and a tea towel can be a pain with the setting sauce on the trays Overall I'm happy with the purchase and would buy again .
