This year we switched to LG Optimus L9s. We use a Walmart Family cell phone and they wanted $25 more off the price of the phone for a micro SIM. I was looking for another $100 to do this so I started looking for a cheaper way. Here is the answer. This SIM card cutter worked great, was easy to use, and for less than $5, it was exactly the answer I was looking for. I was able to downgrade all of our standard sims to micro sims for our new phones and they work great. We also tried SIM card adapters, which I honestly don't want to use in the device. The micro SIM card didn't fit very well and popped out slightly to my comfort. However, WFM SIM cards are a bit thicker than many other companies and I think that played a big part in the poor fit. If you're upgrading from a standard sim to a micro sim and don't want to spend $25 or more on a new chip, there may be a cheap and effective alternative.
