I have been using icicle cords for many years but my previous strings had random nodules. In this replacement of lights, the color sequence is the same from the side wire to the tip of the cord, creating side color lines. You want each chain of icicles to start at the same point, e.g. B. at the edge of a gutter if you want the lines to be straight. The lights themselves seem brighter than the plug in LEDs in my old lighting kits. My only disappointment was that one of the four strings I bought was missing a star. They appear to be glued on, so you can't just move a star from one icicle to another to make up for a missing star in a prominent spot. It would be nice if each box included a spare star or two. Because it's just a missing star, I know where it's missing, but casual viewers won't notice.
