I know pellets are good for birds but I hate the ones in seed mixes. I switched to seeds without them. My vet convinced me to try the pellets again in a separate bowl. I've tried several brands. It's the only thing they like. I sometimes mix other varieties with these and later find them at the bottom of the plate after eating the ZuPreem. I have tried ZuPreem pellets with young cockatiels fed ZuPreem baby food. They didn't like it. It must be a matter of nature. My adult cockatiels love them very much. I only put seed plates and pellet plates in the cages. The birds will fight over the pellets and ignore the seeds. Even if you think your birds won't eat pellets, give it a try. There are brands that smell better to my nose, but these are the ones my cockatiels like.
