My daughter wanted a "dance sweater" like her doll's so I bought it for her as I always bought a Capezio for dancewear. It's a very good top, but the material is more like a very thick t-shirt - it's not very soft and has little to no stretch. I was expecting it to be more stretchy as it will be worn to dance. However, it is beautiful and works to keep you warm on cold days, which is its purpose. The size is a bit small - my daughter is between sizes right now so I went for the larger size thinking she would get more out of it but now it fits her perfectly with no room to grow. Be sure to go up a size if your child is between sizes!
