I washed the window twice before applying this material to the surface. I then applied 3 coats before dry buffing with suede. First I tried using slightly damp suede and it didn't work at all. You must have completely dry suede to keep your windshield clean and beautiful. But after using it, my windshield stays clearer and looks very clean even after a car wash. I live in Florida and here they know how to rain. I drive a jeep, and the jeep doesn't know how to make high-quality windshield wipers. This material will be a lifesaver in our summer rainy season.
