Modern laptops have more or less limited ports and in most cases at work this also becomes a problem as the ports are so close together that one port uses can block others. Another missing feature is the RJ-45 Ethernet port. However, I understand that thinness is the key feature of many of them, and most manufacturers offer some creative foldable RJ-45 connectors and just ditch the connector. Sometimes Ethernet is desirable and sometimes more ports. I also have adapter cables to extend the ports so they don't block each other. Although I don't abuse this adapter, it feels solid because it's made of aluminum. It can be used right out of the box. The price is right.
