New twists on a well-known classic

Our family loves the original version of this game but I bought the Disney version for my nieces. And yes, I had the opportunity to play with them. and while I prefer the original version of the game myself, I can safely say that the Disney version of the game is perfect for kids, and even adults who love Disney will enjoy it. The original apples-to-apples flavor adds a few twists. First, all Red Apple Cards are of course Disney-related and conveniently display the things in question for kids to easily identify. However, the maps not only cover Disney movies and characters, but also the rides at Disney parks, so children who have not been to the parks or are unfamiliar with these rides can get confused. Our family tends to play "house rules" that allow us to fold cards we are unfamiliar with without penalty, allowing us to avoid such cards. are played along with the Green Apple Card to change the meaning of each adjective you are trying to match. For example, "Happy" becomes "Sad", "Dirty" becomes "Clean", etc. The problem is that a) not every adjective has a clear opposite, and b) many of those opposites are already in the deck. Again, these cards can be bypassed or even removed from the deck early if you don't want to play with this twist. This version of Apples to Apples may not be as raunchy and entertaining as the original version, but it's a great game. for kids and a great way to introduce them to a party favorite. And you can even mix the two games together if you like.
