Great game for all ages

This review is more about Apples to Apples gameplay than the Disney version specifically. My daughter is a teenager and takes care of our two younger nieces. Sometimes they invite me to play (father). This is one of the few games that is really fun regardless of age and/or ability. It's also good because it doesn't require much assembly and disassembly, which is also important for children. There is nothing worse than the Monopoly set, which only has two houses and one of the markers is a…

Great family game for standard playing cards

I bought this for our family to play with my 5 year old niece on holiday. She loves Disney and images from Disney theme parks, movies and Disney Channel shows made it easy for her to play without much help. But not only my niece liked the game. All 3 generations of my family (even the less Disney obsessed) loved playing this game. The game encouraged conversation and laughter. The game was very family friendly. We look forward to playing it during the holidays for many years to come.

I played this game last night with my wife and 5 year old for 2 hours

We got this game and I wasn't sure how well my 5 year old would do but she got this one loved the game she was so easy while she had some trouble reading some of the words on her own she understood most of them and the ones she couldn't she looked at the picture and chose what was in the picture, as your card. It worked really well and she just wanted to keep playing last night, 1 game turned into 2 then 2 turned into 3 and after 2 hours we put the game on hold but it was a great family game…

Pleasantly surprised! Great game

I love this "used" game. One corner of the box has very little damage and 2 or 3 seals have been cut off cleanly. All cards inside are still wrapped. The plastic insert and the instructions are perfect. I bought the travel version of the game and we heard so much fun that we wanted the full version. This "used" item costs about $2 more than the travel version. I'll take a closer look at used options from now on. I highly recommend this game especially for families to work on critical thinking…

The classic Apples to Apples formula with cards from later Disney films.

Apples to Apples has always been a great family game. These are G-rated vs-humanity maps and are a lot of fun. It even encourages reading and critical thinking in players. The basic formula of five red theme cards and one green card is retained, only this variant features in many later Disney films. We have younger kids who are more familiar with movies like Zootopia and Inside Out than The Noble Cats, so these flashcards will help them expand their knowledge base. Other than that, it's just as

Classic Disney style apples-on-apples fun even for preschoolers

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 4 and 3/4 daughter. I know the original Apples for Apples book, but it doesn't read the recent version well enough. We've been to Disneyland, seen a lot of Disney movies, and she has great vocabulary (and she loves puns). We played a few rounds and ignored the last endgame to keep having fun. Family members who are less familiar with Disney can navigate using words and younger ones can navigate using pictures, making this a great game for all ages…

Fun for the whole family.

This is a fun game that both adults and children can play. There are other versions, but this Disney version is more suitable for children. Cards are drawn and each player takes turns as judge, choosing a card from a designated deck and a descriptive word. There are two words on the card. Once that decision is made, the other players choose the card from their hand that they think best illustrates the word and place that card face down in the center. After each player has played a card, the…

New twists on a well-known classic

Our family loves the original version of this game but I bought the Disney version for my nieces. And yes, I had the opportunity to play with them. and while I prefer the original version of the game myself, I can safely say that the Disney version of the game is perfect for kids, and even adults who love Disney will enjoy it. The original apples-to-apples flavor adds a few twists. First, all Red Apple Cards are of course Disney-related and conveniently display the things in question for kids…
