This wheel had a brake failure which resulted in a large amount of metal dust becoming stuck and caking in the wheel surface and barrel. It was so bad that I wasn't expecting anything special from ANY product, but to my surprise, Sonax actually softened the layer so that it could be scraped off with a dull trowel. It took some serious cleaning with steel wool and brushes, but the product works on this burnt dust. He manages the normal rim cleaning without breaking a sweat. .As long as people wash it responsibly, it's a great product!
