Suitable for puppies under 3-4 months.
From birth to 3/4 months the IRIS 4 panel pen was perfect for holding my pup when my eyes couldn't look at him the whole time. She is a Maltese Chihuahua Shih Tzu mix so quite a small dog. However, due to the height of the enclosure and the planks along its length, she developed the ability to climb (and later jump) over the enclosure with ease. For a young pup or toy breed I find this to be a fantastic choice for its comfort and solid build quality. However, Mission Impossible-style escapes can pose a problem for small to medium-sized dogs.
